some drawings and stuff

here are a few old drawing assignments from my some of my classes. 

 we had a little over an hour to go outside and draw a surreal landscape.... instead, i drew a crow. i was sitting right under this guy and he was the most attention-deprived obnoxious thing.... so i gave him some attention.

 again, had a little over an hour to go outside and draw whatever. so i drew bo's cool shoes. (it was once a dream of mine to design shoes, i even met with a guy who designs for nike -SO cool- that dream is still not totally m.i.a.)

2D class assignment. "create a space" we first had to come up with a mythical story-i ended up choosing one from the hindu religion: the cosmic birth- so i had to use an elephant, an egg, and the om symbol.

before drawing this one we were required to draw 6 different rough drafts incorporating different ways to create space.

 here are a few of those....

 apparently i was into crows for a bit cuz i also had to do this typography assignment.... (this was my very first time adding type to an image, also it one of my very first times using photoshop...)

also, i do things for my dad at the office. for the 4th he and the rest of the staff let ourselves get dunked for a family in need or to a charity. but this year, we are putting the money we make toward "getting active". 

and so this ballerina was drawn... 

and since the 4th is quickly approaching, i am going to be busily making a new sign promoting activeness.

this was last year's...

also.... these two are getting married soon!

this is a small insert that is part of their invite. i painted flowers and kylie contributed her handwriting.

excited for them.
