today, while on our morning walk in the snowy fields, the dogs and i ran into another wandering dog (let the chaos begin). i finally got everyone in my control and was able to contact the dog's owner.
and to be honest i kinda wish i had never found the dog.
you see, the dog belongs to a single, young man. i say this because he began texting me in hopes of a Valentine miracle.
i could sense where things were maybe going, and i tried not to lead anything along. i tried to be as nice about it as i could, and he ultimately guessed that i was married. i told him i was, and then this it what he wrote:
"sorry to be so intrusive.... i believe in fate and today would have been an epic story hahaha I'm hopeless, i know. well nice to kinda meet you :) take care"
seriously, how great would a story like that be?! ha ha! i ruined it. last thing he needed was an ornery married lady finding his dog on valentine's day....
ladies, he was very sweet and was rocking some nice facial hair..... I DO STILL KNOW HIS NUMBER. (that's right, facial hair chels.... and his dog was a malamute.... marzie....)
also, i have to share these cuties.
at activity days we got to make valentine cookies and cards. these 8-9yr olds are pretty darn great, i tell ya! these two are particularly darling -best buds. I'm happy i get to call them my buds too.
one last thing... that's right! a valentine puddle!
| sorry its upside-down... |
remember to share the love.
